Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Piedmont Advanced Concrete handles the information you share with us through this website, by phone and by email. We're a concrete contractor in Piedmont, CA, and the only reason we collect anything is to answer your questions, schedule estimates and do the work you hire us for.
It applies to every page on this site, from the home page to our service and city pages. You can read more about who we are on our About page.
What information we collect
When you fill out our estimate or contact form, we get what you type in, which usually means your name, phone number, email, address and a short note about the job. We need the address so we can come out and look at the driveway, patio or slab in person, and we need a phone number or email so we can set up a time.
When you call or email us, we keep a record of the conversation details we need to follow up, such as when you called and what you asked about.
When you browse the site, basic technical details are collected automatically, such as your browser type, the device you're using, the pages you visited and roughly where you're connecting from. These come from analytics tools and cookies, which are small files your browser stores so a site can count visits and remember settings.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to you, schedule and give your estimate, plan and do the work, send invoices and keep records of the job.
We use the browsing data to see which pages people read and where the site can be clearer, so we can keep it useful for homeowners looking into their project.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else sees it
Our contact form runs on an outside form service, and our site uses outside analytics and hosting services. Those companies process your information on our behalf so the site works and your message reaches us.
We may also share details with people who help us complete your job, such as a supplier delivering material to your address, or with a city or county office when a permit or inspection needs the property information.
We'll disclose information if the law requires it, or if we need to protect our business, our crew or our customers.
Cookies and how to control them
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. The site will still work if you do, though some features, like remembering what you've already seen, may not.
You can also use your browser's privacy or tracking settings to limit what analytics tools collect.
How long we keep it
We keep contact and estimate details for as long as we need them to answer you, do the work and stand behind it. Records tied to a finished job, like invoices, stay on file as long as we need them for taxes, warranty questions and other legal reasons.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you. Analytics data is kept in summary form and isn't used to identify you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, including here in California, the law may give you more rights over your information, and we'll honor those requests.
We won't treat you differently or charge you more for asking. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on a request, so we don't hand someone else's details to the wrong person.
If you'd rather not hear from us again after an estimate, just tell us and we'll stop.
Keeping your information safe
We limit who on our team can see customer details to the people who need them to do the job, and we use services that protect the information they hold. No website or email system is completely secure, though, so please don't send payment card numbers or passwords through the contact form.
Children's information
This site is meant for adults planning work on their homes. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page. The version posted here is the one that applies.
How to reach us about privacy
If you have a question or concern about your information, or want to make one of the requests above, call us at (510) 738-1848 or use the form on our Contact page. Tell us what you need, and we'll get back to you within 1 business day.
